Street-based hip-hop technique is a style that’s highly individualistic. Actors see hip hop as a culture that’s expressed through many different art forms. Actors, Inc. has been exposed to the many different styles of hip hop that we see in New York and Los Angeles. Personal interpretation sometimes goes way beyond just learning a few steps. Actors can teach you an eight count, but if you don’t feel like you’re inside it, you’re probably not going to find the truth of the movement.
